Support this memorable community event and share in the experience of bringing one of the biggest holidays in Asian cultures to life.
AAPI Montclair is preparing for one of the biggest celebrations of the year: Lunar New Year. 2023 will usher in the Year of the Rabbit, which symbolizes luck—and we hope luck brings us the same good weather we were blessed with at last year’s Lunar New Year celebration. At our first celebration, the crowd, performances, activities, vendors, and sponsors far exceeded our expectations. It was a powerful moment to see so many people sharing in our traditions and to see our children feel pride in their cultures and a newfound sense of belonging in the community.
For our next Lunar New Year event on January 28th (weather date: January 29th), we are expecting an even bigger turnout and more programming involving our community with family-friendly educational, cultural, and social activities. We will once again have cultural performances including a Chinese lion dance and Korean fan dance; arts & craft activities led by Montclair Art Museum educators; and special themed food and drinks.
You helped make our event memorable, bringing so much joy to children and adults alike, and we are very grateful for your generous donation. We are asking once again if you would like to sponsor this event and share in this wonderful experience of bringing one of the biggest holidays in Asian cultures to life. Please check out the sponsorship prospectus and let us know what level of sponsorship you would like to be interested in for the 2023 Lunar New Year celebration.
In appreciation of your generous gift, we would be delighted to highlight your participation to our community members, business leaders, and guests through signage, public relations, and acknowledgement of your support during our stage presentation. The presenting sponsor this year will have exclusive signage next to our special ice sculpting event, an amazing photo op for all attendees. Our gold sponsors will have exclusive signage next to the photo booth. As we have grown, so have attendance numbers for our events, and we expect strong turnout from our vibrant community of Asian Americans, the fastest-growing demographic in New Jersey, as well as a diverse swath of our friends and neighbors from the wider community.
Your decision to partner with us is an investment not only in our local community, but New Jersey’s growing AAPI community as our advocacy gains momentum statewide. Please check out our sponsorship prospectus; we are more than happy to chat with you about being sponsors once again for this event.
Please reach out to Soo Najarian or Sumeet Kapoor with any questions. Thank you for your consideration of this request!
