AAPI Montclair’s third annual Lunar New Year celebration will feature family-friendly educational, cultural, and social activities to offer community members a chance to celebrate and learn about Lunar New Year together.
Let's ring in the year of the Dragon together. With your support, Lunar New Year 2024 will be bigger than ever.
Your support directly contributes to the growth and development of the AAPI community by enabling us to advocate for important issues, create spaces for dialogue and collaboration, and provide resources to members.
We believe in the power of diversity and inclusivity to break down barriers, encourage cross-cultural understanding, and foster a welcoming environment for all members of the community. By sponsoring one of our events or cultural festivals, you’ll join us in championing diversity and inclusion among the 10,000+ visitors who attend our events each year.
AAPI Montclair is committed to empowering the next generation through educational initiatives such as Teach Asian American Stories. Your support helps connect educators with the professional development opportunities they need to begin integrating AAPI history and contributions into their practice in public school classrooms.
By supporting AAPI Montclair, you become an agent of positive change as we fight discrimination, advocate for AAPI rights, stand in solidarity with other marginalized groups, and help AAPIs get a seat at the table. Together, we can make a significant impact for future generations in our community.
Contributions of any size are crucial to our continued existence and go directly to our programs and outreach including community building events, youth programs, and advocacy and public safety support.
Teach Asian American Stories (TAAS) is an initiative fueled by AAPI Montclair to help support the implementation of New Jersey’s pathbreaking law. Since curriculum is managed by each of NJ’s 600 individual school districts, we are committed to helping New Jersey educators realize this law’s promise for our 1 million public school students–in every school, in every classroom, and for every student.
