VOTE IN NEW JERSEY's PRIMARY ELECTION

In order to vote in the primary election in NJ, you must be affiliated with a political party. 

• If you aren’t sure if you have affiliated with a party or need to affiliate with a party, go to: https://www.nj.gov/state/elections/voter-party-affiliation-declaration.shtml to declare. If you haven’t declared, you can do so before the June 4th primary election or at your polling location on the day of the election. 
• Need to change your party affiliation? You have until April 10th to change your affiliation by using the same form above.

You have 3 ways of voting: 

1. Early Voting In-Person: You can vote early from May 29th to June 2nd. For hours and locations go to: https://nj.gov/state/elections/vote-early-voting.shtml 

2. Vote By Mail: You can have a ballot sent to your home, which you can return by mail or drop off at a secure ballot box in your county or community. It must be dropped off at a secure ballot box or postmarked by 8pm on June 4th. 

• You must apply separately to vote by mail at least 7 days before the election day, so don’t delay in filling out the application: https://nj.gov/state/elections/vote-by-mail.shtml#applications.
