New Jersey will be holding a primary election on June 4th to decide who will be on the ballot in the general November 2024 election for Senate & President. To vote in the primary election, follow these 4 steps:
In order to vote in the primary election in NJ, you must be affiliated with a political party.
All candidates will be finalized by March 25th! Many people in NJ are following the Democratic Party primary election for the U.S. Senate, which includes candidates Patricia Campos-Medina, Larry Hamm, Andy Kim, and Tammy Murphy. NJ has the historic choice of electing NJ’s first woman U.S. Senator or Asian American U.S. Senator.
You have 3 ways of voting:
1. Early Voting In-Person: You can vote early from May 29th to June 2nd. For hours and locations go to: https://nj.gov/state/elections/vote-early-voting.shtml
2. Vote By Mail: You can have a ballot sent to your home, which you can return by mail or drop off at a secure ballot box in your county or community. It must be dropped off at a secure ballot box or postmarked by 8pm on June 4th.
